It was a good moment to set Lent aside and have an Easter liturgy. Remembering a fine parishioner who from his labors is now resting. Alleluia.

I am ending up missing this service. Had wanted to sing in the Diocesan choir, but we have a funeral at our parish in the morning.

Snow ❄️ is sticking. Office is closed tomorrow with me working from home. Thankful I took time after the service today to make sure everything I had been working on last week was in Google Drive. Should still be able finish drafts of Saturday’s funeral and Sunday’s bishop visitation bulletins.

Was looking for some photos of my daughter and found a lot she had sent from Saint Mark’s when she lived and worshiped there her Episcopal Service Corps year.

Yes we usually leave out the middle section. BOS is in my office to check. Should have brought it home. WFH tomorrow with the snow we are getting tonight closing the office.

Fabulous. Do you do the full service out of Book of Occasional Services? One of the modernized ones I have seen various places? Working with our likely officiant on the service.

All the times my H was admitted to the hospital he indicated no religion on his paperwork. So no chaplain visits. We called my own priest to be with us the day H died.

Annual reminder if God forbid you are thinking about it, giving up coffee for Lent is presuming to choose a penance for everyone around you.

Yep. Still waiting on final bills to through for late husband who spent his last few days in ICU. Anticipate “plan discount” to be huge.
