If you don't plan to watch #AboutLove but you like Liu Yuning, here's the one scene you shouldn't miss #cdrama
I'd settle for a little less makeup. It's too glam for who she is.
They also appeared together in the movie Pipeline which is a fast and fun watch
He's sexy too. Check out The Smile Has Left Your Eyes. He also has some great kissing scenes with Park Bo Young in Doom At Your Service even though I didn't like the drama very much.
I was today years old when I found out people find Seo inguk ugly! I need to see yall husbands, boyfriends and ex’s cuz if he’s ugly yall must be dating the finest niggas ever.
😅
Yes I agree! We didn't start out with the hero's big fight scene where he got hurt, I like that.
Yes I love how the historicals low key shade the government and get away with it. That was a very strong theme in A Journey to Love.
yesssssss because clearly painting over the mole made him completely unrecognizable as the Prince 😅
TIL: Liu Yuning has THREE moles 🤯 #cdrama
Have you seen him in Marry My Husband Japan? He's great in that. Also the Ruoroni Kenshin movies. Glass Hearts is really fun too.
so there's been a huge amount of economic progress and the standard of living has improved a lot but youth unemployment is incredibly high and the economy is slumping. I'd love to see a drama that explores that transition from rural to urban but I doubt anything like that will ever get made
It's complicated. I've been reading a lot about China's economy because of a random Xiaohongshu post that I commented on that generated a lot of conversation about the US vs China's economy. China has been urbanizing incredibly quickly and a lot of young people have migrated to cities
I could see that coming and it was super cute!
#PursuitofJade eps 1-3: Tian Xi Wei is adorable but Zhang Ling He gives nothing. He's very handsome and I like him on The Truth but as an actor 😶
Also I think my brain has been poisoned by About Love because after being immersed in that story it's hard to transition to a sweet romance 😅 #cdrama
It's the same director who did Blossom and Butterflied Lover, he's known for the great visuals in his dramas
The lil mole under Seo inguks left eye #BoyfriendOnDemand #Kdrama #KdramaChat
That's such a brilliant description 🤣🤣
I tried watching ep 1 and OMG she can't even stand in character, it's unbearable 😩 It's sad that SIG hasn't had a leading lady I like since Park Bo Young in Doom At Your Service.
My hesitation is based on seeing her in Snowdrop where her performance was not great so I'm not on a bandwagon but reacting to what I've seen of her so far. But I'd love it if she's improved if for no other reason than it would be great to see SIG in a romance where he has chemistry with his costar.
Has anyone started Boyfriend on Demand? Is it a yea or nay? I love Seo In Guk but Jisoo gives me pause and I feel like lately a lot of #kdrama romcoms are just not very good 😩
Oh wait one more thing: Ming, you better run girl because Shen is totally giving off domestic abuser vibes. Get out before he hits you. #AboutLove
In conclusion: TOXIC TOXIC TOXIC OMG SO TOXIC. But admittedly entertaining. #AboutLove
But I think if he actually got together with LL he'd be passive aggressive with her for other reasons. He seems incapable of taking responsibility. I've seen this dynamic play out IRL and it's so uncomfortable to watch. #AboutLove
Meanwhile Yu taking Xiu to the play humiliate Luan Luan was a terrible thing to do but understandable because of how hurt she is. Xiu has no one to blame but himself for what's happening. If he's truly in love with LL he needs to get a divorce. #AboutLove
But I think Bei is aspirational for her, like being with him will somehow make her a better person. But we've seen that Bei isn't a particularly a good influence on his shady friends. He just watches what they do as if he's watching a TV show he's not all that interested in. #AboutLove
So now Xiaoxi has moved in with Bei while still hiding the huge secret that she's testing the therapist and somehow expects to keep it. He'll eventually notice the multiple phones, right? And she keeps skating right up to the line with Gong, who honestly is a better fit for her. #AboutLove
he's deliberately looking away from it. His crimes are crimes of omission. He won't do anything that's directly immoral but he doesn't do anything to stop other people either (something he admitted when talking about Yu and Xiu) #AboutLove
Meanwhile Bei won't tell Xiaoxi what the deal is with Zhen. I see people describing him as a green flag but he really isn't. He's passive and allows himself to be drawn into questionable situations through inertia. He can see that Xiaoxi's behavior is shady but... #AboutLove
