NH Fish and Game rescued two MA hikers from Mount Lafayette early Saturday morning Authorities say hikers were unprepared for the journey and started a nine mile loop in the afternoon, which was too late.

A group of masked people carrying swastika flags marched in front of the State House and tussled with passersby in Concord Saturday, according to several eyewitnesses.

State agrees to pay Harmony Montgomery’s mother $2.25 million to settle wrongful death lawsuit The New Hampshire Attorney General’s office has paid more than $10 million since July to settle cases involving the death of three children in the state’s care.

Montgomery’s mother, Crystal Sorey, sued the state in September, alleging the state Division of Children Youth and Families failed to protect her 5-year-old daughter despite receiving reports from multiple people expressing concern that she was being abused.
