Updated progress photo of my sailing-ship latch-hook project. Starting from the bottom, several rows are filled in with stitched yarn in shades of gray and yellow to represent the dark sea and pale seafoam cresting below the ship. Above that, the ship’s hull arises in brown, flanked by a blue and indigo sky with yellow sun rays reaching through it. The hull is almost entirely complete, and some of the back sails are midway in progress.

Updated progress photo of my sailing-ship latch-hook project. Starting from the bottom, several rows are filled in with stitched yarn in shades of gray and pale yellow to represent the dark, frothy, wave-torn sea. This gives way to sky on the far left and right, framing the bottom of the brown ship highlighted with orange sunlight. In the center, the gray and yellow seafoam continues to rise toward a crest.

The unassembled pieces of a latch-hook project depicting a classical sailing ship on the ocean waves lit by the sunset. It contains a large canvas, a guide image, a latch hook tool, and a medium-sized travel case filled with about 150 bundles of pre-cut yarn.
Long gap but new project! A truly massive 3.5x3 feet that I expect to take a solid year to assemble. Pattern is 174x145 stitches, but the actual canvas is a little smaller, 166x145 plus a fractional uneven row at the bottom for a total of ~24,145 stitches total.

Materials for a latch-hook kit depicting hot-air balloons, including the canvas, a guide sheet, and 31 bundles of yarn in 12 colors.
Next project! Nominally 80x60 images but the canvas provided was a little small, so it’ll be more like 79x58 = 4582 stitches or so.
