Sure there is benefit of transparency in this new hyper-connected world order. But it also reduced the manoeuvring room for world leaders, and especially the ones who care too much about saving face, and have juvenile populist fanbases.
When someone is "given a face-saving off ramp", their own base immediately gets to read that this is an off-ramp within minutes via social media experts monitoring the situation, and thus they cannot actually take that off-ramp, because the face is not being saved anymore when everyone sees through

Now none of that is actually possible.
Back in the 90's and early 2000's international leaders could play the game of posturing with certain statement to domestic audience while doing something else at an international forum, or heads of state could make smiling handshake gestures at international conferences while their entourage of

I really donβt understand this whole βstay on Twitter and fightβ thing. Youβre jousting with bots and reply guys and wading through ads itβs not Waterloo.
I wish the EV-retrofitting of timeless classic cars becomes a mainstream thing (some small shops do it already)
Things things of beauty shouldnβt land in scrapyards.
Wow this actually feels like old Twitter.
Not 2010 Twitter, but somewhat like 2016 Twitter.
The ability to select different feeds is pretty nice.
