2010 rendered pencil commission for Pumpmonger of his amazonian hero Red the paladin. I drew a bunch of commissions of this lady in various fights and predicaments, and I think this is one of the best images out of that series.
Gen Z's nostalgia over "Frutiger Aero" is entirely predicated on their childhood being centered around Windows 7 and the Wii menu. Which is why they think of it as the dominant style of the era.

It didn't become about being productive, it became the time I could decompress and watch old episodes of The Simpsons.
I don't know if this would actually be a useful strategy, but the way I was able to get myself drawing regularly again after struggling with anxiety was to do something else I enjoyed while I drew as an incentive for myself.
I'm serious when I say this. If any of y'all feel like your dreams of working the animation industry are crushed, give comics a try. It's the best way you bring your vision to life in a tangible form. If you can't draw comics, give it a shot. There's no right or wrong way of doing comics.
