Doncs et vols creure que no vaig trobar aparcament i me’n vaig haver de tornar a casa? Amb les entrades a la butxaca. Encara no m’ho crec ara. Els haviem vist a l’estiu, però. Va ser un gran concert també. Ho celebro per tu.
Vas anar-hi dijous, a l’Apolo?
I don't mind the clinking glasses and chatty customers in vintage live recordings but hey this is a major case open.spotify.com/track/4Crudz... A whole conversation backing Monk during his solo #NowPlaying #Jazzsky
Chapter 1 (2026) by Sault. Black cover features a single lit match.
Sault lost me somewhere down the path but Chapter 1 feels like a reset and I’m back onboard baby.

I saw The Stone Bridge and The Drawbridge last Monday and was surprised by how small they are. I'll look for more of Jan van der Heyden's work in other Dutch museums. Thanks for your publications.

Good, isn't it?
One Fine Morning is a delicately sketched film. It is cinema in pencil, rather than pen; a film of light attenuated mornings, understated conversations where decisions are never quite made, melodrama happening off screen.

How right. It is incredible how in such popular cities like Rome or Venice masses rush to emblematic places while others in the vicinity remain quiet.
Sonny Stitt - Stitt Plays Bird (Atlantic, 1964) Recorded on January 29, 1963
Not a big Sonny Stitt fan here, but hey there’s Jim Hall, John Lewis, Richard Davis and Connie Kay open.spotify.com/album/1MXypN... On the second listen, it just clicked #NowPlaying #Jazzsky
A lot of illustrations from him are featured on the cover of jazz records. Easy to spot on as he has a very personal style.
First thing that caught me. Really beautiful.
I envy you 😀
Absolutely. But I’m in love with Sicily!
Now this reminds me of the time we were in Palermo two summers ago when we saw some short quotations along the narrow streets of the old city. Not flashy neons, dimmed ones there, too. I liked it.
Amazing indeed. I was there last April and the lights were not. But what amazes me most is such a tranquil street there in the very center of such a busy city. Thanks a lot for the pictures, they’re beautiful.
I know where you mean. Just after exiting Babette. Thanks for the lead!
Will try to spot it the next time I’m there. So charming a street.
Miles Davis Quartet – The Musings Of Miles Recorded on June 7, 1955
An album I often pass by. Why? youtu.be/pK7NoYRKBhs?... Sound-wise, it's a turning point. No saxophone but the sound of the First Quintet is already there
