HB 484 would eliminate a state tax deduction for direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical advertising. Del. Ziegler’s amendment would redirect the resulting revenue to protect health care coverage for Marylanders. We strongly support this bill and thank Del. Ziegler for her leadership!

Today our Catherine Kirk Robins testified in support of the Vax Act (SB385), which would guard Marylanders’ access to vaccines. Every $1 spent on childhood vaccines is estimated to save $3 in direct medical care, which helps stabilize health insurance premiums for all of us.
