Recently installed a Yaesu FT-710 at my cottage station. I’ve been very pleased with this #AmateurRadio transceiver.
W8JJ 1D Michigan ARRL Field Day summary: 432 CW contacts, 39 SSB, 49 states (No Alaska), 14 hours operating using 100 Watts and wire.

I have no experience beyond 10-160m operations. So, I don’t have an informed response to your question.
Too many advantages to mentions. CW contesting performance, ESSB audio is amazing, user support community, RX audio tone is warm, KPOD accessory for custom macros, build quality, intuitive user interface, remote operation, regular software updates and more.

It just happened to work out that way. I recently added a KPA1500 amplifier to shack. So, the KPA500 and KAT500 are available for a new deployment supporting the Hermes Lite 2.
