Rather than feel awkward for the next ten minutes while I ask you to bring out a couple of sizes, I'll just make these ones that are obviously too small work for the next year or so.

I'm finally getting around to watching What We Left Behind and during the bit where they introduce the cast by having them read contemporary reviews they got to like the 5th guy and I said, "Who the hell is that? I've never seen that face before."
It was Jeffrey Combs.

Today I learned about flag cones and Christ I will never look at these fucking press conferences the same way again.
I think my favorite thing about the Legend of Heroes is that everyone has an epithet and it's almost always taken as a matter of course.
What I like about this is that it really makes you fundamentally ask what notions of property and ownership even are. If your ownership of something is based on the exploitation of something else, you never really owned it regardless of what the law says.
"I didn't say it was good: I said it starred Antonio Banderas."
Who is the "Religion for Breakfast" of Dinosaur YouTube?
Really feels like they made about half a dozen models for episode 1 and just got the most out of them.
This is an excellent rule for storytelling but also implies that Philip Pullman witnessed the death of God as a boy.
"The Dinosaurs" Way too narrative driven. I want dino facts please.
We live in hell
What are they? Hip flask parents?
It's a classic example of the sum being less than the parts. There's so much to like, but it like a lot of movies from that era kind of meanders and doesn't really come together.
Killer soundtrack though.
10yo enters his KISS era after watching the Bill and Ted movies.
"They have way more YouTube subscribers than Ordinary Sausage."
Truly a metric only a 10yo could come up with.
So his mush brain is trying to look the Most American. That's really it. But millions of lives hang in that balance. Mind boggling.
Japan, as far as anyone knew before the 1st bomb, was threatened by imminent invasion. We know we can't do that to Iran. So what? Nukes? They're solely useful at obliteration of civilians. Does he think he has a majority who supports that? Will the rest of the State stand up to stop it? I pray so.
Trump only sees it as a patriotic moment, ignoring all context. A strong America, a strong American president, demands unconditional surrender. And America is obviously invincible and of course we're in a position to obliterate their population if they refuse. But what's the follow through?
He needed to justify the bombs. And the fury of the US people legitimized that position granting Truman the cover he needed. But the US people are not uniformly behind the war in Iran. It's really only a small minority, and increasingly a minority of the GOP base, that are into this.
This one really feels like Trump badly misremembers WW2 history. You have to remember that Japan, technically, attacked the US first and that a lot of Americans had died closing in on the home islands. Russia was done with Germany and was closing in on Japan. Truman needed a rallying cry.
That's capitalism.
Don't forget all the transphobic shit they did nothing to fight against.
Kinda a whole thing fascists love doing. They'd rather those they see as subhuman die than themselves.
I hate that "search it up" is just a thing kids say now.
"Conspiracy brained"
We have deep suspicions that unfettered capitalism has been a collective disaster for human rights and a giant stack of receipts to prove it.
This is how you can tell these ghouls genuinely don't care about the intrinsic value of human life. Yes, humans use resources: we are alive and deserve dignity. Machines aren't people. They're existence largely makes life worse for everyone.
I played a DND character like this back in like 2011.
These people are the world's biggest hypocrites. If the enemies of the United States do anything that even resembles breaking the rules of engagement, they will act like it's the end of the world. The only thing going to save the world is a complete regime change in America.
Current skuttle is that Paramount's bid for WB is backed by Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar which is hilarious because just this morning they announced they may have to reconsider their foreign investments if the war with Iran continues and oil production is halted.
Hilarious unintended consequence.
britney and justin are in the news, we are at war with the middle east, people are wearing flared jeans
am I 18 again? is this 2002?
Loved the soundtrack to this episode. Very John Carpenter at points. #sfa #StarTrek
