I have FEELINGS about substitute teachers appreciation week.

Substitute teachers are exploited by the Albertan public education system, and marginalized in the profession & Assocation. You know what doesn't make that better? An email or video saying how appreciated subs are.

Public education is a public good. The beneficiary is all of us, collectively.

I hate the commodification of education. Making it about parental choice and specialized programs and only preparing individuals for career success.
There's so much more to education.
