I'll give you one guess who was constantly told they were "so smart" growing up and had a really harsh wake-up call. Lol

OMG HE'S BACK IN STOCK
Oh yeah, and here are our clear pictures. (My static lead took the second pic, hence why no cosmetic mods.)
Never mind, on our third clear I beat my own parse by over 1,000 rDPS. I highly doubt anyone's beating this. Lol
I know there are still so many hours left in the day, but PLEASE LOCK IN. 😫
Can confirm, takes about this long and the best-paid translators only make about $1,000 per volume.
Editors make less per volume; I’m not sure about Letterers.
It’s not that expensive to get a good localization of a manga volume.
Don’t let them forget that.
I'm gonna SCREAM, dude.
I'm genuinely surprised that RE9 is as unnerving as it is. They've reinvented regular-ass zombies and given them a healthy dose of personality (kind of reminiscent of Alan Wake). Oh, how far we've come from the nondescript sludge monsters of RE7... This must be what RE1 felt like back in the day. 😓
5. Rhythm Doctor
Yeah, so... this is kind of one of the greatest rhythm games ever made. Tons of good music, easy to pick up and play, and a surprisingly touching story. Special shoutout to the extensive accessibility features and difficulty options, which made S+ing every level mostly painless.
4. Dark Souls Remastered
Boy. I know it's oft hailed as one of the greatest games of all time, but as a game, Dark Souls has not aged the best. Next to Nioh, Lies of P, Elden Ring, etc. there's a sluggishness to everything that just makes it feel like the game is constantly holding you back. Shame.
3. Nioh (Base Game)
I got super lost in the sauce on this replay and ended up playing through the entire thing twice in a row. Not a terrifically hard game in a post-Elden Ring world, but it's as fun and rewarding as ever. Can't wait to give the DLC and the sequels a shake.
2. PowerWash Simulator
Arguably the coziest, least stressful game ever made. Excellent for unwinding after a long day, especially while watching a video or a movie on a second monitor. Cannot recommend it enough.
1. Strange Jigsaws
Fun little game. I do think a few of the puzzles are too esoteric for their own good, but there's a lot of heart behind this, and tons of creativity on display. Well worth the play.
I haven't done one of these in a good, long while. Media thread time!
(I know we're almost at the end of February, but I barely have anything to even put on this list at the moment. We'll see how that changes as the year goes on.)
Yep, we called the police, but it doesn't look like anything was taken. Just waiting on them to show up so we can file a report. 😮💨
Someone broke into our garage this morning. 🫠
Colorblind caveman when the tribe tells him about nature:
By far my least favorite thing about modern YouTube is that if I hear an awesome song in a game, I can't just look it up and listen to it, or else the algorithm will go, "Oh, that person would probably LOVE to see some videos that spoil x twist/the game's ending in their thumbnail/title."
Nintendo! Do the rest of the series next and my life is yours! 😭
🗣️📣 NEW BLOG POST ALERT!
After playing the masterpiece that is Xenogears, I felt compelled to talk about how compromise can intrinsically enhance the creative process and create something that's infectiously charming.

I think that may have been the best State of Play that Sony has ever done. Wow. There was very little there that I'm /not/ looking forward to in some capacity. But even taking my preferences out of the equation, that presentation was stuffed to the gills. It just. Kept. Going.
Cancelled my Discord Nitro over this age verification nonsense, and I encourage everyone else to do the same.
Money talks. Don't give them yours.
Big day for fans of emotional torture.
(And before anyone asks, yes, I did read the full quote and it doesn't make me feel any better about this. Lol)
It's honestly impressive how they've been shooting themselves in the foot at every single turn with this remake. At this point, I've made my choice. I'll be skipping Kiwami 3 and just playing the original (which I already have access to on Steam; don't worry, I know it's getting delisted).

Arleaux De Switchambault: Typical heretic. die.
Dang. I got 2 on a deep sale, so I don't mind too much if it feels like DLC, but it being harder is... kind of a terrifying prospect. Haha. I do find the challenge motivating, though. Hopefully my recent playthroughs of Shadow of the Erdtree and Silksong have prepared me well enough.
