Wouldn't call myself out on the Clay Holmes starter experiment, just more of a skeptic.

Any pitch-shape deception Holmes has is a product of forcing early swing decisions. As velo decreases, arsenal interaction effects take a hit. His pitches pop out of the hand, likely exacerbating TTO penalty.
