Good stuff, thanks for checking. Very interesting that even in such a case it makes no sense to go beyond 400-500.

Interesting post, one question though. You write that the main benefit comes into play when the insert is done over the network. But the test runs local only, did you also test with inserts over network? Optimally to a different country 😜
What I lost in Twitter, I found in Bluesky.
Processing one row at a time leads to lots of round-trips to the #database
This is SLOOOOOOOW
It's faster to batch records and send many in one call
How much faster?
@pdevisser.bsky.social tested with Python and batching inserted 150x more rows!
Great feature and implementation. This would also be a good candidate for a backport to 19c 😜
Nice feature and demo, but.... has somebody seen 23ai on Prem? 🧐

@connormcd.bsky.social Great Video, one question though. You mentioned the Advanced Compression Option, how would this help in transferring the data over the network? Are any parameters needed to be set? As I understand you it would not be needed to compress the underlying tables/indexes to work?

No such luck for my Venu3, had to setup the watch from scratch. Still not everything as it was before...

One customer noticed something in the supported Versions for SQL Developer.

The 24.x Version is currently not on it, I guess this is only a small oversight?
Any plans on how long development for the Java SQL Developer will continue?
