From what I've found online, there's no app/module/way for me to easily share my medical records with other doctors. At some point, I'll have to download the results and send them.

There's got to be a better way to share information.

Alright, I've done more research now. I'm very confident that we could eventually have a healthcare system that is built on patients owning their health data and owning who has access to it. We just need some big companies to commit to develop this public service.

Instead of a new online medical record service/company, there needs to be a new protocol that facilitates the safe exchange of information.

A safe and secure medical information protocol would be revolutionary!

For an on chain medical record system, on chain only stores:

1. Credential creations from verified institutions
2. Record of new off chain document
3. Record of access granted to off chain document

All medical documents are stored encrypted (AES/PQC) and there's a clear trail of who has access.

The biggest requirements are post quantum encryption, and physical document based passwords, like passport or real id drivers license.

It would take monumental changes across multiple industries, and it's very possible if people cared.

Alright, here's what I'm thinking...

There should be an open source block chain medical record system. I've spent a lot of time thinking about it and I do think it's very possible, if done right.
