The limp is still here, so I feel like I might as well let him go to daycare, since whatever’s causing it doesn’t seem impacted by his activity level and he doesn’t actually seem like he’s in any pain - it’s certainly not stopping him from trying to jump at squirrels or having the zoomies

About two weeks ago Hank developed a mysterious limp. The vet basically said β€œhe sure is limping, and the cause is mysterious” and prescribed a week of dog ibuprofen and two weeks of β€œrest” (aka no off-leash play or doggie daycare, since I declined drugging him up on gabapentin)

(I actually don’t mind public speaking so long as I have time to prepare, but I don’t have the patience required for either of those jobs regardless.)

both of my parents were required by nature of their jobs (pastor and English teacher) to stand at the front of the room and talk, so, no.

Waiter: And as our special tonight, we have a ribeye for two, traditionally served medium-rare, but it can be cooked up to well done.
Me: …it really pained you to say that, didn’t it?
Waiter: It *really* did, but they make me.
