I've noticed the same difference in mask-mirroring between pre-pandemic and now. People DID mask MORE in pre-pandemic healthcare-settings.
And:
"The only difference between me and everyone else is that I KNOW I'm vulnerable."

So… one of the Blue Spruce read aloud books has a nonbinary character whose sister learns to refer to them as “they/them” instead of “she/her” and “my sibling” instead “my sister”.
Steeling myself for some backlash.
