i was helping my aunt with her laptop's avast installation - turns out she had like 8 active subscriptions to their various sludgeware products and none of them were being used. but the company gladly gobbles up all that money!

i can't imagine forgetting that i subscribed to something when it is actively Taking Money From Me and that is clearly reflected in things like bank statements
