Great job to the team for doing this. it was always difficult to show it to an employee in the booth because most of the time they weren't there lol. But all the same its nice to have this feature now AND a big bonus is that its done in house and not by a separate contractor that would charge a crap

As a Marylander who lives near a MARC train site. I find this dumb. Just buy electric trains that run on the catenary. But also as someone who knows that the NEC is owned by Amtrak, i can understand the reason behind it. Because MARC and i'm guessing MBTA both pay for the use of track and catenary.
Well to me it means people at the MTA need to grow some balls and make our transit better then. Instead of wasting money on stupid crap.
They wonβt work. People donβt care, theyβll still drive and block the bus lanes. What is needed is a dedicated bus way thru the city

i'll be happy once all the new trains are in service, LightRail Link finally gets upgraded with the same new stuff as the purple line and finally we get heritage units for MARC as god intended. But that'll only be a dream. Until mta grows some balls to hop to it.
