a sheltered oasis is for what i plead, where i'll build a sandcastle to suit my needs. in a valley of wind blowing the world my way, i can be prepared to face each new day. betwixt runes and dunes in ruins of days gone by, on a throne with nostalgic relics of mine, come find me oh light you divine..

the cycle has me trapped in tatters, i know it all too well... a fool's errand to be my undoing. but to vagabond is easier than settle these wastes.

even a river in this dry land wouldn't be a saving. for the predators there lurking would cause my drowning.

the urgency is otherworldly and springs my steps with hope. so much so that the dust kicked up creates a threatening visage. thus i'm stranded yet again as my guiding light caves like a mirage.
