They see trans people as expendable. They would rather ensure that 100 trans people can't transition so long as there is a possibility that 1 person might mistakenly transition. In no other field of medicine is that even remotely ethical to suggest or do.

I keep hoping this or that will be the key to improving my depression, but what I keep finding is that it seems to be different things at different times that helps. Sometimes it's meditating, sometimes it's having a good cry, sometimes it's pushing myself to do things, sometimes it's resting.

Violence against trans and GNC kids is terrible and much more common than most think, and it deserves to be treated with so much more respect than cynically used as a way to further hurt a gender minority population.

It's a ghoulish appropriation of the very stuff that seriously traumatized me and lots of other trans people. I wish there was some way to stop it.

It's a more elaborate form of the claim that GNC kids are "confused" and that wanting to transition as a young adult is an extension of that supposed confusion.

I really passionately hate the weaponization of GNC kids for anti-trans arguments. It feels so flagrant and cruel and manipulative, even for transphobes. So often, they're talking about either trans kids or the kids we have overlapping experiences with, and then acting like we don't/didn't exist.
