Imada: What is architecture to you?
Inoo: Of course, there's dreams I want to fulfill as an idol and challenges I want to take on with my group, but separate from that, architecture allows me to think that I can take on new challenges even as I age.
Inoo: Those ideas are given shape through architecture, so I'd like to leave my way of thinking behind, even a little, after I pass away.
Inoo: My dream? People will think I'm crazy, so I don't really want to but I want to make a park. I want to leave my philosophy behind. Architecture is often thought of as design first, but it starts with conceptualization or the thought of "This is how people should live"
Inoo: In order to continue doing this for a long time...I'm 34, so maybe it's strange for me to say that I want to go forward with a fresh feeling, but I feel the need to challenge new things
Inoo: I think up until now, there's been many model cases...such as our senpais, who've also taken many different paths. But for the future, I think we're going to see less of those model cases...
Inoo: If you were to ask me if I'm satisfied, I am, and I'm privileged to live a life like this. But I think if things get stale it'll be boring for me. I think because of that, how we do things from now on will be crucial
Inoo: Talking about it makes me embarrassed though, and I can't stop fidgeting
Inoo: But if I [don't take action] out of embarrassment, I won't be able to do anything
Inoo: I enjoy being with companions who share the same values as me...for work, doing concerts as a group and releasing CDs...we're gathered together with the value of "We want to continue working as the group, Hey! Say! JUMP." Having companions who share that with me is surprisingly important to me
Inoo: If I drink alcohol while eating, I get drunk pretty easily
Inoo: I feel lonely eating by myself surrounded by all these cameras. I like eating with other people...I'm a bit nervous. I think I'm someone who gets lonely easily
Inochan being horrified at footage of himself singing while riding a bicycle ww
Inoo: Even after I graduated, I didn't have the courage to continue with just my job as an idol...I haven't announced this officially, but I also completed my graduate degree in two years
Inoo: I didn't envision leaving the group, but I did wonder, "Is it okay for me to continue being a group member like this?"...I was also using my status as a student a bit as an excuse, like "I don't have work, but I'm a student right now."
”Why did you decide to go to university?"
Inoo: At the time, out of all the members, I was getting the least amount of individual work. I don't think I had the confidence to make a living in the entertainment industry. I didn't think it would last long
Inoo: I'm nervous having myself examined this closely in France like this. I think there's definitely a part of me that's thinking "[why are they talking to an insignificant person like me]"
He drew the floor plans of this building as part of a university assignment. He was also so excited about the building he was talking outside of it for quite a while
The last time he was in France was about 5 years ago when he was on his way to Congo for a location shooting for Arashi no Waku Waku Gakkou. He was only in France for 1-2 days, but he wanted to see the Villa Savoye no matter what
Yamamoto: Maybe they got used to you
Imada: Wasn't it because you disguised yourself?
Inoo: I didn't
Imada: Are you really in Hey! Say! JUMP?
Inoo: Maybe at that time I wasn't!
Imada: But conversely, you could focus on your studies
Inoo: Yes, I'd like to think of it positively that way
Imada commented on how HSJ have become veterans in the industry
Inoo: We debuted quickly, so I was in my second year of high school at that time
Imada: And you went to university too?
Inoo: I studied architecture at Meiji University
Yamamoto: Didn't anyone squeal at you at school?
Inoo: Not at all

Finally got around to watching this
Illustration depicting a cutesy snail crossing a grassy field while flower petals are flying about. The sky behind the snail is blue and the bottom half is covered by giant clouds. The illustration is contained in a golden circle and surrounded by the text: you're allowed to take your time.
Consider this my snail of approval 🐌

Still trying to figure out what approach I want to take with posting my translations here tbh c’:
Ohayou Bluesky. It’s cloudy here. Let me tell you about another trend among Japanese artists. They're moving to Xfolio from pixiv nowadays. Xfolio clearly says they ban all of genAI images, while pixiv is pro-AI. Many AIbros have tried to spam Xfolio, but they have been swept off into the dustbox.
