NWC has repeatedly highlighted gaps in training & understanding of coercive control, & the impact this has

We need specialist training, transparent survivorcentred structures & more

Domestic & sexual violence is an issue that requires systemic change

We are calling on the Irish Government to take against these relentless violations of international law and impose sanctions on Israel, at a minimum, now.

👐 NWC fully supports the @labourparty Bill in the Dáil today for a right for employees to flexible and remote work

✅️ Having a right to flexible and remote work won't fix gender inequality, but it would provide another tool for women in managing the complexity of life

Deeply concerning article revealing that a mother who experienced domestic violence was refused social housing priority

Local authorities must take DSGBV into account when assessing housing priority. No survivor should have to fight the system like this.

Traveller and Roma women die, on average, 8 years earlier than women in Ireland generally.

We fully support the call on government to cut the life expectancy gap in half by 2030.

On #BrigidsDay, also the first day of spring, we look at this day as a symbol of care, protection and renewal, deeply connected to land, food and community, a reminder to all of us that humans and nature are not separate 🌱

Climate justice is care work. And care must be at the heart of our future💚
