If you oppose this unconstitutional, unconscionable war, make sure you voice your views. This is by the first measures the most unpopular war in modern history. Make sure your representatives know this.

The hockey has been very good this Olympics
I just bought us an estate (British for station wagon) today. The boot space is incredible
As an American who immigrated to the UK (and am now a citizen), it's been very disheartening how often my existence gets boiled down to a financial transaction devoid of any humanity, my humanity
Great article, Rafael - you may enjoy this one from yesterday in Foreign Affairs as well bsky.app/profile/dand...
As much as I do not want to write stuff like this, I am pleased that @profsaunders.bsky.social and I got to co-author something that is accessible but also good for the syllabus. www.foreignaffairs.com/united-state...
Hey Disney Plus are you sending us a message
And of course, the American is like "what have overseas people done recently for MY local community" lol
As if we don't have our own right wing problems that need attention. It's not on me to fix American fascism.
Oh, okay lol - yes, it sure is grand sitting over here in my armchair (lol) watching the USA descend into abject tyranny and transform into Europe's enemy while people like you cosplay doing something about it. Many thanks for your efforts.
I don't live in the United States.
These activities are objectively good and will do good, but you're operating in the old paradigm. The Constitution is effectively dead. What you do with the information is up to you. Poland in the 20th century is a case study.
These are great charitable endeavors to improve your local community, but I have to be honest, I don't see any activity that will actually put a physical stop to any of the illegal things happening in the United States.
Okay, what are you specifically *doing* about it
Neither the sentiment expressed in the image nor your sentiment is helpful. What is required at this juncture is action.
@gleno.theyetee.com this one's for you bud!
Imagine interviewing a victim of torture and independently confirming the details of his torture and then being told you canβt broadcast it because the people who ordered the torture wouldnβt give their side of the story.
Traveled last weekend up to Edinburgh, a long drive we cut in half by staying in Cumbria. Behold, both the Howgill Fells (the hills) and an incredible breakfast. British food is good and I'll hear no slander against it
Man, the NHS is just incapable and incompetent at every level. An absolute national embarrassment.
Just a note, the UK does not have birthright citizenship in 100% of cases. Worth having the facts correct - it's why the 14a is important, as a part of the Constitution it is forever enshrined, unlike the law in the UK which can change at any time if parliament wants it to change
I take it the cars did a thing then lol
I am now a British citizen - it's been a long and expensive journey! Glad that it's finally over after all the costs and time spent.
π¬π§
I'm sick of hearing worthless morons whine about immigrants.
Cries in British infrastructure
I genuinely wonder if I'd prefer these monstrosities over European pickles lol
I miss proper dill pickles so much π
When Shadow the Hedgehog needs a microwave aligned with the Chaos Emeralds
The War of Annihilation of Traitors to the Constitution of the United States of America, the Blessed triumph of Republican Democracy over Tyranny and Slaveholding Fascism, Brought to you by the Glorious and Victorious United States Army
Remember who you are, patriot
It's a good day to be American
The official name the US government gave it after the fact in reports was "The War of the Rebellion"
Relieved that voters resoundingly rejected this fascist bullshit.
Angry that we still have at least another year of it, probably another three, and that we're by no means in the clear.
Livid that it all could have been avoided if we had simply not reelected the asshole who tried a coup.
