Barnard's chart on the "need for AI literacy" is, to me, mind-boggling, it's bizarre acceptance of the premise, in service of the ultimate goal... creating more AI! This really is "To serve humans."

The practical reality is that humans in these situations trust AI implicitly without substituting in their own judgment. So the practical reality is that there's no real difference between an autonomous AI pulling the trigger and a human guided by AI. Both result in war crimes.
