To find some joy/distraction among the horrors, I've decided to go with a movie theme of: Movies From 1999. Partly a nostalgia trip (I'm not a Simpler Time person though), but mostly because I saw someone post, "Weren't there a lot of good movies from 1999?" And it turns out there were. Neat!
