Earth: Final Conflict!
Why does our documentation suck? Easy. Itβs not valued. I can tell itβs not valued because itβs:
* not discussed during hiring
* doesnβt appear in job req
* people are promoted without writing it
* itβs not included in definition of βdoneβ
* no shared place to find it
* no one accountable for it

ππ I talk a lot about values. Particularly what companies/engineering orgs say they value because whatβs on paper is, frankly, bullshit 99% of the time. What you value shapes everything and itβs easy to tell whatβs real and what isnβt.
