Am I hanging my laundry out today? You bet your sweet patootie I am. The water sublimates right out. They smell amazing, like summer line dried laundry but 10 times better. Pro tip for winter laundry hanging: wear gloves. Wet fingers are no fun in freezing weather.

For a productivity-minded person like myself, acknowledging and accommodating the body’s need to rest and recover from illness is a radical act of surrender and self-care. Makes me think again about the pressures I accept as a matter of course, as if they are gravity. (Turns out, they are not.)
