Autocorrect changed Bourdieu's "cultural field" into "cultural feud" and now I feel like I have to come up with something to justify establishing the latter as a real term.
Strippers and hookahs
For a second I thought this headline was putting βhookersβ into a Boston accent
A friend of mine inherited a pack of dogs with her house (a farm in TN), and one of them was a Basset Hound named "Hopeless." I can never do better than this when naming a dog :)
New today in TIW: Historian @cjdenial.bsky.social on teaching about AI. "in every iteration of this conversation I have had with students in the last two years, there is one constant: almost no one knows about the ethical issues surrounding GenAI before they delve into the readings Iβve assigned."

The most sore I have ever been was after accidentally riding a snowboard down a moguls trail.
I included it because it made me mad, ha
I wonder what we should call the historian voice?
Hint for #5 - review by @simonreynolds.bsky.social
You might have heard them in a driveway.. to a driveway
"Their reputation precedes them, meaning I've heard their name,...So far nothing's threatened to drag me into the murky depths, there to consume my shredded form, and I'm already up to track four. This leads me to suspect that murky they may be, but deep they ain't."
