Canadian here, back n forth Asia 20 times (out of country for months), coming back Canada - literally ONCE an agent was super nice. Most evry other time, rude/powertripper. Vacationed to US hundred of times (maybe more) stern/professional, never met a RUDE American border agent, some even friendly.
I read Wilkerson's book on Caste as well as 'The Warmth...', she's such a gifted writer. You feel like you are right there with her the whole time. I don't know the adjectives to fairly describe her talent.
Maybe some Dickens, there's some long ones to keep your mind occupied. I found Maria Ressa' How to Stand up to a Dictator, very inspiring, but, if you want to get away from what's going on right now (which is totally fine), then, classics even, Steinbeck, Heming..help me escape. You are not alone!

I'm 72 yrs, put weight on in winter, walk 18 holes daily (golf)- in summer, usually lose 5 kilos (12lbs) and eat more; i eat lots complex carbs, beans for protein, it'd be hard maybe to walk 4 or 5 hours a day, but if you can find a hobby incorporating more walking (moving) might be worth a try....

would it just take 12 or so GOP members to come over to the Dem side for a majority for impeachment in the House and just 4 repubs or so (?) in congress to close the deal to impeach in Congress. Aren't we at least getting close to this? Are there zero Republicans left who have a BREAKING POINT..
But, the threat caused a lot of damage, whether there's official removal of US products from shelves or not, a lot of Cds (myself) will be boycotting US products; for me no more PBR for sure.....
