I finally got fed up having to look at my P1S that still will not work for me. Even with the new AP board installed, it will not connect to my WiFI, even after I got a new router from my ISP. I had it for over a year and did not get 900 hours of use on it.
I sent it away!

I am working on the drive electronics for W.A.L.T.E.R. I am transferring all the signals to a different L298N motor controller. I hope this will fix the motor control problems. This is why I try to buy more than one of each component I use. The new L298N motor controller is on the left.

Only Claude and Gemini have been able to give me clean code - i.e., it compiles cleanly in Arduino IDE v2.3.6. In each case, I have had to paste error messages back into my conversation, but I have always ended up with clean code.
Now, I have to analyze all of it. 😉😉
I have been doing a lot of experimenting with artificial code generators - Claude, Gemini, and Grok. I have been generating starter Arduino sketches for a robot I am building.
I have narrowed my selections down to Claude or Gemini. Grok just does stupid stuff and gets errors it should not get.
I have started experimenting with letting Claude, Gemini, and Grok generate code for an Arduino sketch I will use to control a Mecanum robot I am building. Claude and Gemini both generated a full sketch that meets my requirements. The code from both compiles cleanly.

PLEASE call these programs what they really are: Machine/Deep Learning software.
These things are in the realm of what only we Humans can do. What we have should really be called Deep Learning, not something that indicates it has intelligence. Even our smartest people can not agree on what intelligence really is. Please, stop calling these advanced computer programs "AI."
I have always been bothered by the term "AI" because it presumes far too much. What we have is artificiial for sure, but there is no intelligence in it. We have very advanced computer software but it does not think, create spontaneously, or truly reason.
I am somewhere between levels 1 and 2. I am 66 years young now and have *finally* got the answer I have been searching for. Now, I can proceed to figure out how to deal with this. This was such a relief to me! I have a much better understanding of myself now and why I am the way I am.😉😀
I could not agree more! I have always known that I think very differently from most people and have been searching for an answer to why for more years than I care to admit (all my life). FINALLY, a few months ago I underwent an extensive evaluation. I was diagnosed with Autisim Spectrum Disorder.
Whenever I have overcome a challenge, I have always come out stronger than when I went into it. Sometimes, there is no other way but to just power through to the end.

It is not just blindness, but any challenges that make life difficult for somebody. Many can be serious enough to be disabling and some are much worse than others. As we are all individuals, so are our challenges.
I have #Tinnitus and pretty almost no hearing on my left side. If you are on that side of me, I might hear something but it will most likely just be mumbo jumbo that makes no sense.
When I say "almost no hearing," I mean I can detect sound but it makes no sense to me.
All challenges are complex.
