Honestly, that's just a win-win for everyone.
Creator still gets paid AND the viewer gets more of the creator's signature work.
I always watch @/noodleawesome.bsky.social's ads for this reason, too.
I've gotten so good at detecting half-baked segues to ads in YouTube vids, even if I'm only half paying attention, that when a segue is so seamless that it does genuinely catch me off guard I think "Oh damn, respect, you got me. Still skipping, but good job."
The Pokémon Gecqua hugging a folded diaper and saying, "You want to be my trainer? Aww~! Maybe after I train you to use the potty, silly baby."
Is this diaper very small, or is this Gecqua very big? 🤔

Commission for @rawrparty.bsky.social 🎨
Still open for some commissions!
Decluttering has made me think about how much stuff people save "for a special occasion"
maybe we should just enjoy things while we have them instead of waiting for "the right time", only for it, or you, to expire before that moment comes

I pulled out the cushions,
I looked down the side,
And much to my horror
I saw naught on the hide.
"The couch is now lost,"
I thought with a slouch.
"It belongs to the spider,
The King of the Couch."
I sat upon the couch,
And what should appear?
A spider near my arm,
My heart raced with fear.
I shot up, full alert,
My glasses knocked askew.
I turned back 'round to see
The beast crawl out of view.

It already feels MUUUCH better to exist in it, tho
Spent the afternoon cleaning the kitchen so I can work toward purifying it and making it my altar for magic work.
The microwave, sink, and one counter have all been cleaned, and the oven is currently incinerating any built up grease and food. Gonna clean it out tomorrow with the rest of the kitchen

The House Committee on Energy and Commerce passed the Kids Act, a mix of KOSA, Screen Act, and several other ID/facescan verification bills. There is still time before a final vote in the House, as well as a Senate version. Please use this link to call your Senators and Representatives to vote no.
Much like how I've gotten so used to wearing glasses that I look weird to myself without them, the absence of my collar now elicits a similar feeling.
Getting an itch to replay Zelda: Oracle of Ages.
I have a craving for some good Zelda dungeons, and Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword are too long for me to experience them all before I get bored lol

The idea of an all-encompassing energy thru-out all things (living or not) is about as close to a universal concept as I can think of.
Even still, it's called different things across different cultures, its exact purpose(s) and how you interact with it are all different, as well. There are no 1:1s
So no, Wiccan/witchcraft resources, I will not be monitoring my prana while cooking or keeping my chakras in balance. I don't have a right to make use of those practices.
If I had someone from that culture to guide me thru it and teach me in the way they were taught, then yes, I would happily walk that path.
But as it stands now, if I were to incorporate Shinto practices into my witchcraft, then I would be appropriating that culture cuz I only have an outsider's POV
Since I've started embracing more spiritual things and I have a degree in Japanese language and culture, I've been asked if I'm going to incorporate Japanese spiritualism into my practice, and the answer is a hard no.
It's not my culture to use like that.
>> exactly have a good track record of fully respecting or even understanding the practices and beliefs that they ""borrow"" from other cultures. So forgive me if I'm skeptical about the inclusion of things like qi or chakra in my Wiccan resources.
It just reeks of appropriation to me.
The most common thing BY FAR I see brought up is chakra, a Hindu belief. But I've also seen Chinese qi brought up a lot, and the book on kitchen witchery I'm reading refers to Indian "prana" a lot.
I'm not opposed to having other cultural influences in my witchcraft, but Europe and the USA don't >>
