Couple of visits into the Stour Valley today. Highlights included Scaup, Black necked Grebe, 4 Cattle Egret, 1 Great White Egret, Bittern, 3 Hen Harrier (1 male) and 1 Curlew dropped in near Marsh hide tonight. @kentishplover.bsky.social #kentbirding
Despite the constant rain (what a surprise) I had 5 year ticks at Nethergong and Chislet Marshes this morning taking the year list to 72sp: 2 Woodcock, Water Rail, Green Sandpiper and Corn Bunting and Golden Plover. @kentishplover.bsky.social #kentbirding

A good weekend in the Herne Bay Downs area with 6 year ticks taking the year list to 78 species. They included 3 Little Gull, 8 Kittiwake, 6 Velvet Scoter, 1 Great Northern Diver, Rook and 1 Fulmar. @kentishplover.bsky.social #kentbirding
