My take exactly with Fabian Hurzeler's comments. He wasn't criticizing Arsenal as much as he was saying that it was a refereeing problem. Arsenal aren't doing anything wrong, but at the same time, PL rule-makers probably should do something about how set-pieces break up the rhythm of the game
He's come across as very 'LinkedIn' since he joined Brighton, but apparently shit stirrer was his reputation in Germany

Yeah, and I can see Hurzeler using the sub to send a message to Baleba and the rest of the squad about discipline. The Milner part is my biggest issue. It makes the other aspects more annoying for me lol. Not a bad first half though, so hopefully we get something here
I see what you’re saying. Ultimately, I just feel differently about Milner vs Baleba. I also am really, really, really against making a sub that early unless it’s absolutely necessary. I don’t think it was here
Tactics-wise, bringing on Milner feels especially poor with how direct Villa are. I’d feel less confused about he sub if it were O’Riley or if Hurzeler brought on a winger so Gomez could move into the midfield
I see more of the argument now that when I first posted, but honestly it still feels bad for me. Hurzeler talked this week about regaining confidence. Not sure how this sub does that. I’m definitely biased against Milner too. It’s harsh, but I’d be alright not seeing him play for Brighton again
