I watched Season 1 last year. I was with it for a few episodes, but then it fell apart in spectacular fashion. It completely lost the essence of King, which is great storytelling and characters. Haven't been able to bring myself to gamble on Season 2, even though I love the Annie Wilkes character.

My favorite Wes Craven film was filmed pre-A Nightmare on Elm Street. Although it was disowned by the writer/director and was equally dismissed by audiences, there is no Wes Craven film that brings me more joy or that I've seen more than The Hills Have Eyes Part II.
Craven purists will find many thematic and visual similarities to his other work, and the film marks an important bridge between The Last House on the Left and The Hills Have Eyes. Also like those early films, The Fireworks Woman is a roughie, so proceed with caution.
I've long been fascinated by the early films of Wes Craven, and there is no rarer find than The Fireworks Woman. Because it was a hardcore sex film, Craven used the pseudonym Abe Snake, and he also has a starring role. Catch The Fireworks Woman on 35mm this Saturday at midnight at the Eros Theatre!

When we were developing My Bloody Valentine: The Novel, director George Mihalka wanted the book to fully explore the film's big mystery about T.J. and his time out west. The strength of My Bloody Valentine, in film and print, comes from its strong characters. Tackling T.J.’s story was a big thrill.

Today’s the 45th anniversary of My Bloody Valentine. Canada's Cinepix and director George Mihalka stole our hearts with this masterpiece of holiday horror. I missed the film first run because the commercials were too scary, and I was still traumatized from seeing Friday the 13th on opening night.
Meet Stella Sagar, assistant manager of The Love Oven in Valentine Bluffs. The unnamed first victim in the original My Bloody Valentine plays a bigger part in the return of Harry Warden in my official novelization. There's also an origin story for this hopeless romantic's heart tattoo.
