problem is i legit can't take time off since i do this full time
time off means money lost and since i don't make enough i've got to be constantly working plus the need to catch up on owed comms
And despite working on owed stuff nearly constantly it never feels like im getting anywhere
Ive tried to set specific stream schedules but they always get broken because I cave in to commissioners asking for progress on their comms and stream on days I scheduled to specifically not work
To the point where im no longer taking any days off.
Nothing comes out like I want it to
Im taking way too long on sketches that I used to get done quickly
And my focus is so staggered that it frustrates me cause it feels like im constantly dealing with brain fog

But after streaming 10+hrs/day 6-7 days a week
Every week for the past two years
Has finally taken its toll
Think ive hit that burnout/artist block hard
Its had a negative effect on my focus and creative ability.
I couldn't get anything done in time for Slit Day
but those who know me know that every day is Slit Day for me!
(I'll be posting a munch of slit focused art over the next couple days to make up for it)
can't even make a new post there without it being manually reviewed
guess i've gotta delete everything on Subscribestar.

this is my third stream and I'm already regretting it because people just can't stop complaining over something FREE
and it's even more frustrating because i've said it at many points, the sponsor of the stream gets a guaranteed slot.
like, they're literally the reason i can hold the stream to begin with so deal with it?
like the purpose of the stream is originally to bring people in, request fan art of a character they like????
people supporting me just get the bonus of being able to ask for their OC as a thank you??

also for the next few months I'll be doing the Artist for a Day as i used to, where I just work on as much as I can within that stream (or two streams for folks in vastly different time zones for both our sake)
