To add to this apt point; whatever Americans in safety of being thousands of miles away from all this may think, people in Turkey are indeed fearful they are the next. Israel targetting Turkey after Iran is vocally discussed. It is in our news as Israel openly voices it. It is a real threat for us.

Again, neither being Evil nor doing Very Bad Things - in fact, not even actually Iran trying to acquire nuclear weapons - justifies the American president completely violating the UN Charter, the Constitution, & domestic law to start a war.

Today’s military strikes on Iran — carried out by the United States and Israel — mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression. Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war.

Our constitution is clear: the decision to take our nation to war rests with Congress. Trump’s reckless & dangerous decision to initiate military action without congressional authorization is clearly unconstitutional.
