it goes pretty quick on 30s version, but if you look you can see that I draw the outline of things before filling it in, so it's mostly lineart even if some of the lines are hidden with flat colors.
The colors of the reference is what inspired me to use it.

Also sculpted some waves in Zbrush to use as refs.

Had a similar experience last night.
Last night as my wife was playing, we could hear a constant groaning sound, even in the safe room. Wife was on edge, it turned out to be the cat making fatty grunt snores. Same setting, same characters, different ending.

I'm trying to use more reference, on the OG I didn't use any and the hair was off. This time I used refs to get the hair right. I don't use enough refs, but I'm trying use more recently if not for accuracy just to try and not rely only on my internal library.
Before making the switch to procreate from PS, I was mainly a rendering guy, using the pen tool to make my shapes. The switch to procreate and it's more limited tools made me switch to lineart and 3 years and 300+ illustrations later I got better.

I've been using procreate for three years now. So I asked the good people over at patreon which illustration from 3 years ago I should redo, and they picked Lingerie Peach.

It's the X-files game , that was on PSX and PC, that's the PC version. It's an FMV game where you play an FBI Agent looking for Mulder And Scully that went missing. I think that was the plot, it's been a minute.
