In a rational world, the efficiency of liquid organic waste treatment will be measured by:
- biogenic carbon not released into the environment
- renewable energy harvested, stored and distributed

So the investment in rooftop solar panels should therefore be part of the defense spendings.
Even if global warming was not such a pressing issue, renewables are not only more affordable and less price-volatile than single-use fossile fuels, they also increase a country’s resilience in armed conflict.
