As of yesterday the Great Western Highway over the blue mountains had been indefinitely closed. This has almost cut off 2/3 of NSW with the unreliable Bells Line of Road now the only way over the mountains.

Honestly Singapore GP and Singapore generally were never on my bucket list, but here we are! I'm actually rather excited.
Anyway, I delayed booking anything because I was waiting on some insurance money, and then that orange moron started a war. Figured I'd bank on somewhere likely to be stable, and it's only an 8 hour flight, not 24, which is nice.
So I overcame decision paralysis and bought the 3-day pass to the Singapore Grand Prix in October. My boss basically said take holidays whenever - I had 20 years of my job assigning leave a year out and that at least giving me a framework to make decisions about where to go! #Formula1
