It's been a long time coming πbut it's here NOW. I just need to learn how to drive it π.
their plugs are great quality "expensive" but worth the extra forhow well they last ,i use all m&p cables and plugs now from 7mm for the lower down bands to 10mm for vhf/uhf and 13mm for eme and definatly noticed the difference after changing
many happy returns ,hope its a great day for you ππ
HF now for probably close on 2 years in full sun, wind and rain( im in gm land ππ) and its still nice and supple and standing up to the weather ok .
hi phil for what its worth i quite like it ,its nice to work with and flexible .although i dont do much at all with hf i do like 6m and use it to feed a a halo and previusly an HB9CV on 6 i also use it on a qfh for 137mhz where it does a decent job , ive had a run up to my OCFD for TBC
Thats the front plate ,back plate, ribs and fibreglass antenna support done just the outer band and mid band to fit and the ultralight dish frame is complete and ready for the mesh .jiuggling between 2 masts and the dish at the moment seems to be taking forever π€¨
ππ€,fixed the sequencer issue this afternoon so very qrp tx is now a plus as well. ill clear some of the shrapnel off the boom in morning and hopefully see a little improvement again from that if any big guns are on.Be better"hopefully"when ive finished a dish and the lna,..... "onward and upward"ππ
Its been a long time getting here but at LAST ive managed to get a RX signal or 2 off the moon on 1296mhz ,still a very long way to go but at least now theres light at the end of the tunnel.,get a bit of the clutter off the boom and try that i think next
it seems that way to me as wellπ’

Map showing current propagation on the 20 meter band
Map showing current VHF propagation.
I am an amateur radio operator who maintains the real-time HF+ and VHF propagation sites.
The HF map has two modes: global activity per band and propagation unique to the user's location.
The VHF map is useful for showing areas of enhanced propagation, typically tropospheric ducting.
