ππ: Ontario appears to have pulled back on sharing data. That's an idea we put to the premier's office, which told us:
"To imply the government has reduced or removed process measures is factually incorrect and misleading to your readers.β

"No peaceful demonstrator should ever be killed for standing up to their government. Unless, of course, theyβre a suburban mom in an SUV thatβs driving away from law enforcement."
With the US-Israel war against Iran underway, be especially cautious about what you post and share in moments like this. #checkyoursources
The world could be such a nice place if we allowed it. It's all so goddamn unnecessary. There's no need for any of it. It's so beautiful here. It should be so cool to be alive
These pics are of my conversation with the Google AI app on this search. My part will be marked with a "Q:" for question, and its will be an "A:" for answer. Q: what comedy show used the recurring line "Bong! start again!" as a gag? A: The recurring line "Bong! Start again!" was a signature gag in the British comedy series The Benny Hill Show. The line was typically used by Benny Hill himself to interrupt a sketch that was "going wrong" or becoming too absurd, often while playing a flamboyant or incompetent director or interviewer. After the loud "Bong!" sound effect and the command to restart, the scene would immediately reset to the beginning with the actors attempting to play it "straight" again, only for the same or a new comedic mistake to occur. Are you looking for a specific sketch where this was used, or would you like to see other famous catchphrases from the show?
I'm like most of us: grappling to understand this "AI" thing and just what it is and isn'tβ¦
Today I had this enlightening encounter that really helped in this. I'm going to capture it here as my own record, but also for others who may learn from it too.

That is an incredible pull quote from Meta, jesus. Masks fully coming off.
Reporter: Do any of you have a favorite animal?
Child: My favorite one is a gold snake that can move. It has gold eyes, and it has a super-duper tailβ¦
Reporter: Mr. Mamdani, the second question for you.
Mamdani: Yes. Itβs also the golden snake.
Oh they are absolutely in it, being Statler and Waldorf. It is literally just a new episode of the old show with a few of the newer characters incorporated, like Pepe. There's a Bunsen and Honeydew sketch, too. No standalone Swedish Chef scene, but he's in there.
The new episode of The Muppet Show is great fun because it's a new episode of The Muppet Show.
Chickens backing up Sabrina Carpenter? Yes.
Rats getting their own musical number? Yes.
Maya Rudolph flirting with her monster seat-mate? Yes.
*And* they wisely kept the theme song.
I hope they make more.
Gee thanks, Stephen Harper. None of us were thinking that until you brought it up just now. /s

Nooooo! Not Catherine O'Hara!
The small bench inside of a bus shelter has been filled with a pile of snow boulders.
Why are some people like this?
(I was early for my bus so yes, that bench is now clear. Y'know, in case someone needs to sit down.)
So in attempts to de-Google, has anyone found an alternative to Google Alerts that they like? Bonus points if it's not a US company, but right now I'm interested in hearing about any options that give comparable results.
Congrats to all the advocates who worked so hard to keep bird friendly building requirements in Winnipeg!

Do I believe in astrology? No. And yet...
Can't help but note this is supposed to kick off tomorrow:
"The last time [Neptune] moved through Aries was from 1861 to 1875... This upcoming journey will last around 13 years, helping reawaken us to our highest ideals and express them with conviction."
It is horrifying to watch our neighbouring democracy lose itself.
