You would use the lowest number on the appeal track. In the picture you 78, 77, and 76 are the appeal track numbers. Therefore the number you would us is the 76.
So if those two markers don't cross paths you would end up with a negative score.
You look at where your marker is in the appeal (ticket) track. And the subtract the lowest number that your marker is on the Conservation (green) track.
In the photo the appeal track is at 88 and conservation would be 76 (the lowest number covered by the green section.
88-76=12
Does that help?
I can completely get how that part is a challenge. Once you get it it's really easy.
It's a must get if you love Knarr.
What's the game? It has a great table presence.
Closed the evening with a game of Ark Nova (Mathias Wigge) with Marine World expansion. And won the game with 33 points. This is definitely a top 10 game.

Have you played with the Skali expansion yet? It adds so much to an amazing game. And makes it so much better.
A friend and I played 2 games of Knarr with the Skali (Thomas Dupont) expansion. Both of us really like what it adds. Opens up the decision space in the game. And then we played LotR Duel for Middle Earth (Antoine Bauza & Bruno Cathala). I won on the ring track as the fellowship.

Sweet Lands is such a great game with so many options for things to do. With the bulk of the scoring being eng game scoring. So leading during the game means nothing.
I really have to get this one to the table and of the shelf of opportunity.
Is there ever time when a house has enough chocolate chip cookies?
I could see that being an issue for some.
What is it about the art that turns you off? I thought it was a clean design and esthetic.
February was a slower month compared to Januart. Favourite game of the month was Sweet Lands with Kanban EV a close second.

Played a quick game of Magical Athlete with our daughter before her bedtime. Then my wife and I played Ark Nova. Love this more each time I play it. I won with 29 points to -15.

This one that I've been drawn to because of that striking cover. But never pulled the plug and buy it. Love to hear your thoughts.
Played Ridk Legacy again tonight. Almost won my first game. But the mutants got me in the end. Really loving this game.

I was impressed to see this clue on one of the crosswords that I do.

So do I.
I love Animal Farm. Just wish I could read it again for the first time.
Love this one. I think we are on chapter 15.
Mail call! Simone Luciani & Virginio Gigli's expansion for Grand Austria Hotel (published by @lookoutgames.bsky.social). Thomas Dupont & Antoine Carrion's expansion Knarr Skali (published by @bombyx.bsky.social).
Knarr will hit this table again Wednesday, if the storm is done by then.

I haven't played this one yet. But I did play their Witches. Really enjoyed it.
After a couple of games of Knarr we jumped into Mathias Wigge's Ark Nova (published by @capstone-games.com and Feverland). Love this game, looking forward to getting a few more plays in. I won with 40 points second place was -17.

It's so good, I'm looking forward to trying the expansion.
I can see this one hitting the table with some frequency.
We finished the evening (last night) with The White Castle by Isra C. And Shei S., published by @devirgames.bsky.social. This is a favourite and part of our 2026 10X10. It's a really tight game that really gets you looking for combos for the best turn (you will only get 9 actions).
