I can bring Edmonton to me, at least. I'm pretty sure I own this one:
Also a not insignificant amount of tobacco smoke.

Feeling like Indiana Jones during the final few minutes of THE LAST CRUSADE
COVID was a massive bummer for the whole world, but we had some moments.
After the salmonella thing, makers of Dubai style desserts have pivoted to 'undeclared allergens". Perhaps we'll see "broken glass" next?
The demon stands next to Lucy with a hand on her arm. She sits with her elbows on her knees. The demon says, "Listen, I think you've been pushing too hard--you're going to make yourself sick at this rate." Lucy says, "I can't afford to slow down."
Lucy lies on her back, holding a tissue. The demon is sitting with its legs underneath her, holding a box of tissues and looking distinctly unimpressed. Lucy says, "Oh no I am sick." The demon says, "What a surprise." Lucy snaps back, "Quiet, you." The demon continues, "Who could have possibly foreseen this."
Tale as old as time.
Fucked up a perfectly good transformer-based translation engine, look at him, he's got anxiety

So Philip Glass just joined TikTok. He only has like 4 posts and theyβre simply him in what I assume is his living room playing the piano. First comment on one I saw was βyour piano is too close to the fireplace, youβll dry it outβ and if thatβs not the internet in a nutshell I donβt know what is.
Possibly the best @ianbetteridge.com Law of Headlines yet
It uses polarizers, so everything is full colour. Someone posted a good YouTube video in the comments of the original post that explains it well.
yeah, digital is slowly getting there, but I still prefer film.
I'm pretty stoked.
the fan motor should have been easy, but it was complicated by the fact that i couldn't get the fan off the shaft, which is required for disassembly. Even built my own custom fan-puller, which only got bent.
I am getting *very* close to getting this thing working! There were some optical bits missing, which, miraculously I was able to purchase, and I just won my fight with a very seized up fan motor.
John McPhee wrote an orange book? (smashes the "place hold" button on my library account)
My friend pulled one of those out the other day, but I had my own orange going, and didn't try it. :(

See that sled? In your heart you see it and are like βI want to sit in that sledβ
Friends, I assure you absolutely nothing but sadness and stinky pants will come from sitting in that sled
Go in, have a drink, put The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald on the jukebox (they have it)
But donβt sit there
