I've done a lot of lobbying and a lot of activism. It seems stupid, it seems pointless, it seems ineffectual, but phone calls are one of the few things that legislative offices really pay attention to as a barometer for public opinion.

When I used to draw flyers for bands I would use photos as references, and at first I would always be worried that it would look bad for this whacky cartoonist to draw real people, but that became the style. It always came out hilariously weird, and that became my unique touch
