I am NOT a massive vampire fan, I think they are cool, but there are other monsters I personally think are way cooler. But time and time again I keep finding that vampire related things where vampires are barely tapped.
And saying 5.5e makes sense, it's a .5 version of the game and we have presitent for it with 3.5. I honestly think as a community we should just call it 5.5e, so differentiate it properly.
The reason why is because 5e was successful, it's the version all the live games are playing, it's the one on all the promotional materials, so they didn't want deviate too much from it. But calling it 5e (2024) is CONFUSING.
I mean, yeah on one side oneDnD is a dumb name, but I hate that I have to recall a numerical date to specify which version of a game I wanna play.
Why do we call it DnD 5e (2014) and DnD 5e (2024), why don't we just call it 5e and 5.5e?
