It's been a bad week for gaming.
I genuinely love Xbox. The 360 era is the spark of my passion in the industry in spite of gaming being my primary entertainment since the N64/GBC. Even the recent stuff I love with games like Redfall being underrated and Starfield being one of my new GOATs. But shifting to the AI exec? I can't do it
I've always said it felt like the shit decisions over there came from above team Xbox. I think Sarah Bond resigning instead of taking over for Phil Spencer reinforces that, but I also think that means that era is over and we have no more protection against Microsoft's horseshit.
Xbox has been my main since the 360 so I reject the hiphopopotamus joke but that only makes this that much more distressing 😭😭😭
