Obviously, I think Trump should’ve gone to Congress before starting a war. It is an unconstitutional war. He is guilty of doing something heinous. That said, where we are now has created great peril for the Iranian people. Particularly the dissidents It’s just a terrible situation.
At this point, failing to take down the regime would result in a humanitarian crisis in Iran, with thousands or tens of thousands slaughtered. Moreover, I very much doubt the Gulf States, at this point, want to see the current regime remaining place.
At what point do Uday and Qusay Trump tell daddy that his war is hurting the family’s crypto investments? Or, has that already happened? In all events, I fear Trump will cut and run, leaving complete chaos in our wake. Far worse than going in in the first place.

There is lots of evidence that the vast majority of Iranians hate the Islamist regime. Are you unaware of that? As for attacking Iran, I think Israel has every right to do so; it is under attack constantly from Iran & its proxies. As for the US, I have criticized Trump for not consulting Congress.

I hear you. I posted the interview simply because it seems highly topical.
It was a recent interview of great interest to what is now happening. I'm not endorsing the idea of helping install Pahlavi. However, at the moment, I'm wondering who has a better idea, short of keeping the current deeply unpopular & murderous Islamist regime in power.
