The children rehearsed alongside Ulster Orchestra players and Crescendo tutors, getting their first taste of large-scale ensemble playing. The session included a first run-through of Mars from The Planets – an exciting step towards their final performance with the full Orchestra in June.

Our first Come & Play day of the year took place last month, where over 60 amateur musicians at Grades 3-6 level joined the Ulster Orchestra for a day of rehearsals, where they got guidance from our musicians before performing in a showcase concert in front of family and friends.
