Went to see son at a school concert. At half time turned to the woman behind me and said I'm sure I recognise you. She said hello, I'm Fern Britton. Had a nice chat - her twins went to the school.
At the airport in Palermo, passed David @realbaddiel.bsky.social in the queue. I said 'Mr Baddiel, big fan of your work.' He said 'thank you'. Then sat near him in the terminal but managed not to comment how Palace had just beaten Chelsea. (PS just finished his My Family book which is very good.)
